ABOUT US
Kelli Strehlow - Owner/Head Trainer
Hi! I'm Kelli, a self diagnosed crazy dog lady and balanced trainer. Typically this is the section where trainers brag about themselves in third person... I'm going to do it in first person. ;)

I grew up with dogs and often taught them tricks like roll over and sit and down while my siblings played outside... (the anti-social crazy dog lady thing runs deep over here.) I started working with dogs in 2007, where I worked as an adoption counselor of sorts and matched people and puppies and taught them about raising their puppies.

I started handling as a client in 2008, and I fell in love with training. In 2012 I started training dogs professionally for a large school. There I specialized in behavior modification and aggression, as well as obedience. While I loved rehabbing dogs, I found that one of my greatest joys was helping bridge the communication gaps between dog and human; especially in the beginning stages of training. I have been training in this in home capacity since 2020, and find that I have a unique opportunity to really help dogs learn how to coexist with humans and other dogs in the home. Rescue has always been a big part of my life as well, and I have fostered and rehabbed many dogs! Most of them left... Some are now my foster fails.

I live in Mesa, Arizona with my four dogs... Yes, four. Maddox, Tayzr, Bugzy, and Tucker. Along with that crew, we have a cat and two kids! They all have their own quirks, but with a ton of training, a lot of love, and a little luck we have found harmony in our house.

I dabble in sports with my dogs, and love competing with them in Rally, Obedience, Dock Diving as well as Toss & Fetch. However, you're probably not here because you're looking to show your dog in the obedience ring... You're here because you want to have a better relationship with your furry family member. Plus, the puppy keeps using the carpet as it's personal commode!

Well, it is nice to "meet" you! And... yes, I can help with that!
Kalie Rumaner - In Home Trainer
Hey! I am Kalie and I am an all around animal lover. My connection and passion for dogs started at a young age as I always had multiple dogs in the home growing up. After pursuing my bachelors degree at ASU in Biological Sciences with a minor in Animal Physiology and Behavior, I started training professionally for a large school in 2014. There I specialized in obedience, behavior modification, and aggression.
I am committed to providing the most effective, convenient solutions to my clients’ dog training needs, no matter the age or breed. I no longer do dog training fulltime as I pursued work in the environmental field. Albeit, I pursue continuing education and professional development as well as keep current on all industry literature.
When not helping clients to enjoy easier lives with their canine companions, I can be found teaching my dog Vinnie new tricks, doing long distant obedience work, and environmental work. I am looking forward to working with you and your pup!
